Learning Sanskrit doesn’t need a classroom. Start in your kitchen!

Here are some fun words:

  • जलम् (Jalam) → Water

  • क्षीरम् (Ksheeram) → Milk

  • फलम् (Phalam) → Fruit

  • शाकम् (Shaakam) → Vegetables

  • अन्नम् (Annam) → Cooked rice

  • भोजनम् (Bhojanam) →  Meals

Now try saying these simple sentences:

👉 अहं फलम् खादामि                 Aham Phalam Khaadaami       (I eat fruit)

👉 अहं जलं पिबामि                     Aham Jalam Pibaami        (I drink water)

👉 अहं शाकम् पचामि                  Aham Shaakam Pachaami      (I cook vegetables)

👉 भोजनम् खादतु                       Bhojanam Khaadatu        (Eat food)

Next time you’re cooking, try saying these aloud. It sticks faster than you think.
